I started the HCG Diet March 28, 2012.

Today is June 18, 2012 and I’ve lost 39 pounds and 18 inches. I went from 220 pounds to 181 pounds. You have to experience the feeling you have after years of trying to lose weight, and then actually finding something that really works. I was depressed, had no energy and was feeling pretty crappy about life in general. I seemed to cry a lot, and was tired all the time. I didn’t want to go anywhere, and nothing fit right. I’ve gone from a size 18-20 to 12-14 in a very short time frame. My first round of blood work showed I was high in three areas, and now everything is normal.

In the first 10 days I lost 10.6 pounds. Then you lose 1/2-1 pound everyday if you follow the diet instructions. You not only lose pounds, but you lose inches! I highly recommend
the B12/lipo shot every 10 days also. It gives you good feelings, not that crabby mood I used to be in when I tried to cut calories and diet before. Plus it helps with that fat burning process.

I’ve just finished my second round a HCG. March 28th I saw Dr. Kurani to begin my new way of eating and thinking. I weighed in at 220, and I’m now at 165. I’ve lost 55 pounds in 4 months. Even though its embarrassing to post a before picture of me, I felt its important to show how this diet has made a impact on my life. Not only the weight, but the inches lost is remarkable. Many cope with stress in different ways, my way was eating to comfort myself.

When starting this diet, its important to tell yourself that its not that you can’t have Pizza, Fries and Ice Cream. Its that you CHOOSE not to have them. If you have functions to attend, just eat before you go.

I also would advise taking the appetite suppressant that is offered to you. Its seemed to really help in my weight loss. I want to lose 10 more pounds which I have no doubt will happen in the next 6 weeks. Thanks again Dr Kurani for helping me become the person I wanted to be and for giving my my life back. I’m active like I used to be, I even joined some kickboxing classes last month, and I’ll be 62 years old in September. Not only physically, but I’m mentally a better person all around.

Update: Today is October 17, 2012 and I am very proud to say that I have continued to lose weight!! I am now down 64lbs since starting my weight loss journey. I love the new me!!
